School of Management Sciences Varanasi started Newspaper in Education Programme

SMS, Varanasi realizes the need for constant updating of knowledge as it is a vital resource today, hence, it launched the Newspaper-in-education Programme in 2008 whereby Business Line from The Hindu group was made available to all PGDM students everyday at a highly subsidized rate, and this got further accentuated with Business Standard and The Economist too being added up in this programme. This makes both, the teacher and the taught better prepared to tackle issues through mutual discussion. The Institute also makes arrangement with The Economic Times for the Budget edition which is distributed to all PGDM students across its both campuses. A Budget analysis competition too is held where top analyses get awarded by the Institute.
