Acne is a kind of skin disorder occurring in the face characterized by inflammations, red pimples, blemishes etc. It is a skin condition common mostly among adolescents. Acne is caused due to secretion of hormones from the oil or sebaceous glands of the skin. This oil gets surfaced on the skin through the tiny pores present on it. Excessive emission of oil eventually clogs the openings of the pores and layers of dead cells get deposited on them giving the bacteria a fine ground to breed. This blocked pores form red inflammation named acne.
