CIS Network Firewall Engineer 5 to 8 Yrs

As a Network Firewall Engineer you will be responsible for making changes to global Firewall infrastructure. You will analyze, interpret, and implement client requests for soft data network configuration changes. Changes will be executed under highly structured and controlled network standards, policies, processes, and procedures. You will also be directly responsible for reviewing all completed changes of your peers and verifying the changes implemented are per standards and as requested.

The ideal candidate would have significant experience in large enterprise environments supporting PIX / ASA, Juniper, Checkpoint, and Nokia firewalls. The qualified candidate will also have a strong background in networking, network hardware, Network Security, routing protocols and Wide Area Networks is desired.

Required Skills:

CCSA certification is a MUST

• 5 years of practical, hands-on experience performing operational, implementation, or engineering functions in a large complex enterprise IP network environment

• 2 + years of hands on experience with Cisco Routers/Switchers/Pix; Local Load Balancers; Cisco CSS/GSS, BigIP F5; Check Point; and Other Enterprise Level Firewalls

• Solid, foundational, understanding Local Area Networks, connectivity and transmission protocols

• Knowledge of Enterprise Change Management Process and Tools

• Customer facing experience including both verbal and written communication

• Bachelor's degree in technology related area preferred; technical training with appropriate level of experience may be considered equivalent.
